A Leonardo da Vinci quote to take note of

by | 17, Jan, 2024

“I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress and grow brave by reflection. ‘Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but they whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves their conduct, will pursue their principles unto death.” Leonardo da Vinci

Leonardo da Vinci is so well known round the world for his life and work especially his famous paintings the “Mona Lisa” and “The Last Supper”. His works include other pursuits including designing cities, human anatomy, engineering, science and weaponry.

He pursued his interests with keen eye for observation, always with an inquisitive mind. His work was masterful is many aspects. His journals show his many exploits during his life.

He developed a deep understanding of diverse topics; some of his discoveries were instrumental in growing our knowledge of science decades on. He did all this even when times were changing and tough.

We have the potential to embrace who we are, to pursue what we are passionate about in our work and life, to grow through hard times as well as good times. All so that we can make our lives stand for something meaningful and good.
